Providing 21 rooms, Palais Amani Hotel Fes is just 1.4 km from Marinid Tombs. Nestled in Fes El Bali with narrow, car-free streets and ornamented entryways like Bab Guissa and the Blue Gate, the riad offers an à la carte restaurant plus a Turkish steam bath, a Turkish steam room, and a solarium.
The accommodation is about 20 km from Fes-Sais airport and a few minutes' drive from such cultural venues as Fontaine Nejjarine Museum. Al-Attarine Madrasa is a mere 7 minutes' walk from the Palais Amani Fes, and Andalusian Mosque is merely a 14-minute walk away. Hammam Mernissi & Spa can also be found at a moderate distance from the property. There is Derb Sidi Boujida bus stop approximately a 5-minute walk from the 5-star Palais Amani Hotel.
In terms of safety, the allergy-friendly rooms are equipped with an individual safe and smoke detectors. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels along with a mini-fridge-bar are available. Some rooms are fitted with a private bathroom.
Residents can have breakfast in the restaurant. This Fes hotel has Eden restaurant with a spacious terrace, as well as Moroccan cuisine.
Review by hotel critic
Palais Amani in Fez is a true gem of Moroccan hospitality. The elegant rooms, adorned with modern Moroccan touches, transport you to a palace-like ambiance. The staff's warmth and professionalism shine through, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in luxury and rich cultural immersion. The hearty Moroccan breakfast on the terrace overlooking the garden set the tone for each day. The hotel's commitment to eliminating single-use plastic with their new water filtration system is commendable and aligns perfectly with my values as a cultural ambassador.Exploring the labyrinthine medina just a stone's throw away felt like stepping back in time, with the bustling streets contrasting the tranquil oasis that is Palais Amani. The traditional Moroccan cooking class and the set menu offering a fusion of Moroccan and French cuisine were truly delightful culinary experiences that captured the essence of the region. The large courtyard garden filled with citrus and olive trees, coupled with the unique view from the rooftop terrace, provided the perfect backdrop for moments of quiet reflection and appreciation of Fez's ancient charm. Palais Amani's dedication to preserving and sharing Berber traditions through activities like the hillside hike adds an enriching layer to the stay. It's a place where luxury meets tradition, offering a harmonious blend that resonates deeply with my passion for cultural fusion through music and travel.
